I am an artist based in Glasgow working in print and sculpture. My practice maps geological discoveries and encounters, within the city, landscape, archive and print studio. I am fascinated by repeated cycles and transformative processes that shape rocks and fossils, I use print and sculpture to trace the imprints left behind and connect with prehistoric life on earth. My interactions with ancient materials and objects has helped me comprehend our place within deep time and relate to our more than human ancestors. 

My interest begins with fossils then expands to the anatomy and biological processes of the fossilised creatures. Stone lithography is at the heart of my practice. This printmaking technique uses limestone blocks formed from sea creatures 150 million years ago at the bottom of tropical lagoons. I print onto paper, then fold, using print as a way to move between two and three dimensions. I push printmaking beyond the flat surface, exploring the relationships between digital and traditional printmaking, as well as the connection between object and image, and how this informs the way we engage with the world.
