I am an artist working in printmaking and sculpture. My work explores and maps geology and fossils within the city, landscape, archive and print studio. I facilitate workshops and deliver talks about printmaking and lithography. I have delivered talks covering printmaking trips I have been on, the history of processes and contemporary artists working in the field of lithography. I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of the construction and display of printmaking beyond a flat image.
I have facilitated workshops in print studios, community centres and at public events. I am interested in exploring places, community and connections using creative processes, objects and materials . Within a city there is so much to discover I use simple mapping techniques to investigate journeys we take and geological history we pass by within our immediate and layered environment. The workshops I offer are: print and fold (printmaking and paper folding), mapping places and connections in communities, urban geology: investigative practices of uncovering geology within the city.
